My Old House

Richard's been doing some work at my old house for the contractor that's been remodeling it I tore the brochure in pieces so you guy's can see! I decided instead of e-mailing everyone the pictures just to post them for you save on some of the download time for people like my parents! there's even some before shots to give you an idea!

This year has been like every other year it has had its up's and downs

Heidi has started Junior high this year ,which means sports and lots of activities. she's been very active between volley ball , basket ball, and was asked to spend the night at the school for a leadership camp.. only the invited kids got to go! Her art work keeps getting better and better. she opted out of band this year but thinks she might want to due band again next year... she opened her own online store this year , to sell some of her art work. she still wants blue or green hair I am not ready to give in to that yet...streaks are one thing all over color yikes,,,,,

Richard has been commuting to work and of all places to vashon "the rock" its been long days even some weekends he tries to have at least sundays off but it doesn't always work out! the ferry fair hasn't killed us yet! his boss keeps trying to convince him to move back , but i said not until heidi's out of school before I will even think of it ... that's 6 more years... I like her school and i won't move her around I liked attending the same school and I think she needs that stability... Richard had a dear run out in front of him last month so we had to replace a lot of parts on the front end of his car he says he will never hunt animals... someone helped him put the deer down and took it away... he broke its legs and it was pretty traumatic for him I think the last animal he hit was a bunny and that was traumatic enough for him ...

As for myself I am still working in lacey I made my year mark in nov. its been fun the pay still isn't as good but with richard back to work we are surviving... I even have a few adult request for not doing adult hair in ten years that's not bad.. some of my clients followed me ... which helps some driving all the way from auburn and even everet to get their hair done.. some have family down south so they make a day of it ...most of the summer I have been going to the rock with richard once a weak and helping gamma in her garden! but I have been laxed on that the last month because my friend Ranae's mom fell and broke her hip so we did a remodel job between sheet rocking and putting the wood laminate floors down.. we had a big job it took about 2 months of about three days a weak, but it looks good the house needed the work.. I don't think any contractors would hire us but for two girls not knowing much we got pretty skilled with a skill saw...(LOL) and it looked a hundred times better when we were done! I spent a lot of time in my yard this summer two I can't wait until spring to see the results Gamma gave me a lot of bulbs seeds and starts ... and with my fountain it should look grate.. my sister in law moved and didn't want her roses at her new house so I took them they seem to have made it so far... Sorry if my thoughts are all sparatic, Just give me credit for getting this letter out this year!(LOL)

Fountain

I got my fountain back , I decided it needed to go up in my yard. I planted some "saint helens ash" I think that's the name . The leaves look like a daylilly but thin blooms come out bright orange in color. And some other bulbs I brought home from grandma's but I forgot there name around it. at some point I will either get a bench to put up there or make one! Its a little lawn garden area in my front yard and I will hang out up there in the summer in the evening when the house gets too hot it's really relaxing. One of the cooler places in the yard!

she's about 4 now I have been cutting her hair since around the time she was one! and her older sister longer! She walked in to check out the shop my first day there,for a bang trim she didn't know I worked there so my first client my first day I was very familiar with (LOL) that was back in November! picture was taken this weak!

Easter

Easter is always an interesting event, and you have to have an egg hunt! This year Johanna decided to make it more interesting by tying the older kids legs together(LOL) yes there was a lot of tripping! It probably would not have been to bad but the park we have the egg hunt in is sloped all over the place. Well here is Heidi and Kylie the two oldest cousins. All tied up (LOL)

My new haircut

Okay here's the story I got mad at my hair then got scissor Happy not even a hair dresser should due this! you can't get to the back so, then I had to wait for my friend Wendy to straighten out the back (LOL) so my hair is at least 6 inches shorter!
